Christmas Cards

Hello!
This year, as always, we made Christmas cards to give to other person of the class and conglatulate the christmas.
This year I had to give the card to Vera, and Pablo was who made the card to me.

My dream house

I would like to live in a big house in the outskirts of Los Ángeles, around Hollywood.
I would like to live in a quiet neighborhood about 5 minutes from downtown.
It would be a house neither too modern nor too old; a normal and cosy house.
It would have a large living room with wooden floor and a fireplace. On the wall there would be a picture window overlooking a large garden with a swimming pool and a tree house; the front yard would be open.
My bedroom would have a big waterbed, a plasma TV and a minibar. There would have a bookshelf wich behind it would have a secret room with stairs to the attic. Apart of other types of lightning it would be lit up with christmas lights, and on the wall would have some posters.
The kitchen would be modern, and in the ceiling of the dinning room would have a chandelier.
I also would like to have a home cinema, a large aquarium, a home spa and a slide that leads to a game room. There would have a huge shelf for books, series, films and vinyls, and som objects of the house would be retro or set in the fifties and vintage.

And that would be my dream house.

If my house was burning...

If my house was burning I would take my dog Sombra becouse i love it very much and my computer becouse I have a lot of information and photos in them. I also would take my DVD of my favourite series: “Glee” and “American Horror Story” becouse I love them very much and it mean a lot to me becouse is the only thing that comforts me when I'm sad or angry.

If my house was on fire I also would take my phone and its charger to keep contacts and call the fire department for help.

Then I would take some clothes to dress for the next days of the fire, and my money becouse I would need it to buy things and a new house.

But the most important thing I would take with me out of the house is my family becouse I love them very much and they are the most important persons to me.

And this is what I would take if my house was burning.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY

American Horror Story is a horror TV series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. It's an anthologic series. Each season has different plots, characters, settings ...

It is one of my favourite series. I'll talk a little about each season:

Season 1: Murder House 
The first season is based on the Harmon family: Ben, Vivien and Violet, who move from Boston to Los Angeles after Vivien has a miscarriage and Ben Hayden an affair with one of his students. The family moves into a mansion, unaware that the house is haunted. Ben and Vivien try to rekindle their relationship as Violet, suffering from depression, finds comfort with Tate, one of Ben's new patients. Her neighbor Constance, and a stranger named Larry Harvey, affecting the lives of the Harmon frequently. The life of Harmon becomes more complicated when Hayden comes to Los Angeles in an attempt to win the love of Ben.

Season 2: Asylum
The second season takes place in Briarcliff Manor, an asylum for the criminally insane. There is sent Kit Walker, a young man who worked at a gas station, accused of killing his African American wife Alma Walker. The marriage was kept hidden to avoid social impact, as it was illegal in several states and racial discrimination was very violent. Kit is brought to the asylum being confused with the serial murderer "Bloody Face", who skinned his victims (always women) and cut off their heads. But really, Alma was abducted by aliens with her husband, only the latter returning to Earth
. No one believes the story of Kit. Within the asylum, he will encounter terrifying characters like Dr. Arthur Arden and Sister Jude. Strange events take place in Briarcliff, where reign horror, injustice, dementia, inhuman treatment and pain.

Season 3: Coven
It's been over 300 years since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials. Those witches who escaped are now endangered. They are producing mysterious attacks and therefore decide to send younger to a special school in New Orleans where they can learn to protect themselves. One is Zoe, reaching the place hiding a terrible secret. Furthermore, alarmed by the recent attacks, Fiona, the long absent supreme witch, decides to return to the site to protect theirs ... and no one stand in his way.
Main topics are witches, witch hunt, incest, minorities, slavery, mothers and daughters, and sorcery against voodoo.

Season 4: Freak Show
The fourth season (not yet released) will be set in Jupiter, Florida in 1952. It will be centered around one of the few remaining freak shows at the time, as its members do anything to keep the business alive. The season will focus on the conflict between the freaks and the "evil forces" who do not understand them. The season will also feature a "clown killer".

This summer...

This summer I went to New York.
I was in a hotel named "Sheraton" between Times Square and Central Park in Manhattan.

The first day i went in a bus to see Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens, and after i went to the Brooklyn Bridge. At the night i went to Times Square.

At the next day in the morning we went to the Rockerfeller Center and we went up to the building Top of the Rock. At midday we went to the American Museum of Natural History, and after we took a walk around central park. In the afternoon we went on a boat that went around manhattan, and incidentally saw the Statue of Liberty.

The third day I went to see the 9/11 memorial and its museum. At night we went up to Empire State Building, and when we went down we went in limousine to the hotel.

At the next day i went to The New York Public Library and to de Grand Central Terminal. After we went to the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art). In the afternoon we went to see the Broadway musical: "The Lion King"

At the next day we went to MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art), and when we left we walked down Fifth Avenue. In the afternoon we went to the Lincoln Center.

The last day we went for a walk through Central Park and then we went to the airport to return to Spain.
